Head of Community Academy
Responsible to: Chief Executive and Trust Manager
Responsible for: Community Coach team, Volunteers/Young Leaders
Contracted: 37.5 hours/week (Full Time)
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 - Dependent on experience.
Are you passionate about using the power of sport and community to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an inspiring and experienced Social, Health and Wellbeing Lead Coach to take the lead on delivering life-enhancing programmes as part of our exciting new structure at Inverness CT Community Development.
This senior position is a key role in shaping and delivering a range of community initiatives that use football and physical activity as a tool to improve lives beginning with our 'Football Foundations' all the way to our 'Walking Football' sessions, but with a particular focus on our new exciting 'Community Teams' programme launching in August 2025.

Duties
- To deliver high quality sessions running in accordance with the ‘Best Practice’ philosophy of the Inverness CT Community Development Trust.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of our Social, Health and Wellbeing programmes
- Manage and support a team of coaches and volunteers
- Work closely with local partners, support services and community groups
- Monitor impact and report on outcomes to funders and stakeholders
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and inclusivity across all sessions
Qualifications
- HND in Sports Related Field
- UEFA C Children's or Youth/Adult Licence
- Child Wellbeing in Scottish Football
- Equality and Awareness Certificate
- A successful applicant will be required to obtain a PVG.
Duties
- Previous Experience working with Children and Young People
- Previous experience lead coaching football teams
- Previous experience working in a charitable organisation

- Clean Driver's Licence
- Willingness to lead independently

Social Health and Wellbeing Lead

Contracted: 37.5 hours/week (Full Time)
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 - Dependent on experience.

Community Coach
Responsible to: Chief Executive, Trust Manager and Key Pillar Leads
Responsible for: Volunteers/Young Leaders
Contracted: 37.5 hours/week (Full Time)
Salary: £24, 570 - Dependent on experience.
To play a key role in leading delivery across a variety of projects that meet the main aims of the Inverness Caledonian Thistle Community Development Trust including the coaching of our exciting new Community Teams programme.
Key Projects include:
Education based projects | After School sessions | Evening Football sessions | Weekend festivals | Holiday programmes

- To offer social and emotional support to those who attend our sessions.
- To communicate effectively as part of the ICTCD team to ensure high quality programming and sessions..
- To adhere to all ICTCD policies and procedures at all times.
- To positively promote ICTCD to ensure growth and expansion.
Qualifications
- HNC in related Sports Field
- Child Wellbeing in Scottish Football
- Equality and Awareness Certificate (can be completed after accepting the post).
