Highland Vehicle Rental Partners with Inverness Caledonian Thistle Trust to Support Community Initiatives

Highland Vehicle Rental (HVR) is delighted to announce its commitment to sponsoring the Inverness Caledonian Thistle Trust (ICT Trust) by providing an electric-powered van for use in its activities. This partnership is a testament to HVR's dedication to supporting community initiatives and promoting sustainability through the use of electric vehicles.

John Cunningham, owner of the family-run HVR, which is part of the vehicle rental operations of the CHH Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, saying: "We believe in having great reach, effectiveness and superb service. We have seen that ICT Trust share those values. We are therefore thrilled to be able to provide the ICT Trust with an electric van that will help them with their activities in helping thousands of young people in the community, and at the same time contribute to a greener future. It is especially important to show our support in what is a big week for the club.”

The Inverness Caledonian Thistle Trust's primary objective is to promote and improve the physical and mental health of both young and old through activity, providing opportunities for everyone in Inverness and surrounding areas to participate in football. The Trust has six key pillars: Boys Participation, Girls Participation, School Support, Para Football, Adults, and Elderly. This holistic approach ensures that the Trust caters to the diverse needs of the community, making a positive impact on individuals of all ages and abilities.

Craig Masterton, Community Development Manager at ICT Trust, echoed Cunningham's sentiments, stating: "We are grateful to HVR for their generous support. The electric van will be instrumental in helping us deliver on our six key pillars, from promoting physical and mental health to engaging the community through football. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to empowering the community and embracing sustainability."

HVR have also sponsored the home kit of young player Keith Bray, one of the ICT FC midfielders. Keith is originally from Stornoway where the CHH Group, owners of HVR, was first established.
